FREDERICKSBURG
Established in 1815 by Frederick & Sarah DeWitt Royse, one-half mile north across Blue River, from the present site. Children: John, Hannah Campbell, William, Martin, Gabriel, Serah Nagerd, Rebechah McFall, Lydia Vanlandingham, Betssy Edmondson, and Benjamin. Settled here in 1805.
