KUMP HOUSE
Home of Gov. Herman Guy Kump. Built 1924-25, on site of Civil War-era Goddin Tavern. Designed by Clarence Harding of Washington, DC. Eleanor Roosevelt and other notables were guests during 1930s and '40s. Named to National Register in 1983.
