WV-051 Tuscarora (Clinton) Sand

Marker text: TUSCARORA (CLINTON) SAND

The massive vertical sandstone forming Judy Rocks is the Tuscarora of the driller and geologist. The "Tuscarora (Clinton) Sand" yields some gas although it is largely untested in West Virginia.
