CA-553 Rancho Camulos

Marker text: RANCHO CAMULOS - Governor Juan Alvarado granted the Rancho San Francisco on January 22, 1839 to Antonio del Valle, including 48,815 square acres. Jacoba Feliz filed a claim against this grant, which was dismissed on June 8, 1857. The Del Valle family chose Camulos as their home, which later became known as the "House of Ramon".
